West Bunyole Archdeaconry
ugulu Church of Uganda parish is the headquarters of West

1910 it was transferred to the current site. The first lay reader was Yayiro Kasobaata. In 1922 the church started Mugulu sub grade school and in 1933 started Mugulu girls school
In 1920s when Luka Hasahya was the sub county chief of Busaba sub county, he was a
prominent Christian of church of Uganda he mobolised the Christians of Mugulu to construct a permanent church building. In 1933 the church was opened and it was the first church in Bunyole with iron sheets.
On 27/2/1954 it became a parish. The first parish priest was Rev. Fenekasi Swaga. All the churches in west Bunyole were sub parishes under Mugulu parish.
In Jan 2017 Mugulu church of Uganda became the headquarters of West Bunyole Archdeaconry and the first Archdeacon was Ven Rev. Capt. George Olowo. In 2020 Rev. Charles Fair fax Okiror replaced Ven Rev. Capt. Olowo. In Jan.
2021 Ven. Rev. Yoweri Wafuho replaced Rev. Charles Fair Fax Okiror.
