She was born in Bugisu and got married to Ezra Mubbale who was a parish chief in Kachonga, Bunyole. In 1936 Mrs. Mubbale was one of the leaders who attended the induction conference of Mothers Union who had been elected. The conference was in Mbale and it was for leaders of Mothers Union from Bukedi, Bugisu and Sebei. The facilitators brought ripe mangoes gave it to the women but were told to keep the seeds. Later they were told to take the mango seeds to their home and plant around in the compounds of their churches. Mrs. Erina Mubbale was given the responsibility to look after the mango seedlings in Bukedi area. The mangoes which were planted around the churches was the work of Mothers Union.
In 1947 Mrs. Erina Mubbale was elected Secretary of Mother Union in Bunyole
In 1949 in the meeting of
Mothers Union from Bunyole, Tororo, Budama and Sannia Bugule, they elected Mrs. Erina Mubbale to be the secretary General and coordinator to Mbale Headquarters.
IN 1954 Mrs. Erina Mubbale was elected the chairperson of Mothers Union Butaleja Zone.
In 1955 she was elected chairperson Mothers Union Mbale Archdeaconry that was Bukedi Bugisu and Sebei.
On 30/12/1960 Mrs. Erina Mubbale was elected President Mothers Union in the new Mbale Diocese. The previous Presidents of Mothers Union were wives of the sitting Bishops.
On 8/3/1961 she was the first lady to be a Canon.
